- Description
G&K–Vijuk Pick & Place Station
Affix objects in or onto a primary product.
- The Pick & Place Station accurately feeds and places flat or three-dimensional items, such as leaflets or outserts, coupons, gift or credit cards, pouches, or coins onto packaging, products, publications, or more.
- Precise placement is accomplished through a rotor system regulated by shaft encoder and photocell readings, where suction cups on a servo-powered rotor head pick up items from the feeder and then release them on the principal products.
Versatility.
- The Pick & Place Station is modular and can be installed on production lines, mailing systems, the delivery end of folders, saddle stitchers, or other finishing equipment, with its control integrated with the controls of the primary machine, synchronizing it with the operation and maintaining production speed.
- It can be equipped to run off line, using any of a number of GUK feeders.

Servo-driven rotor system for precise placement…
Suction cups on the rotor pick up product from the feeder and precisely place them on the primary product. The speed of the rotor is synchronized with the speed of the primary machine, maintaining production speed.
Two items can be placed simultaneously (i.e.: teabag and poly window).
Perfect placement every time.
Tipping outserts into packaging
To reveal product identifier or package contents through package window, outserts can be tipped to the inside of the packaging.
